Review from Yelp: "This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. The food is inexpensive, healthy and they give you lots of it. Oh, and it tastes great, too. I've been taking my family there for a few years and the owner knows me now and will flip the channel from Vietnamese variety shows to the Kings game if he sees me come in.
I don't know how that sits with the rest of the clientele, but I am very appreciative. Don't be afraid of a strange menu if you don't know Vietnamese. Try the pho or a chargrill dish and slowly expand from there as you get comfortable."
Review from Yelp: "Xe Lua is the biggest bowl size for pho. Typically in Pho restaurants. To go into a restaurant named Pho Xe Lua, means you are ready to order a big bowl of noodles. I come here with my family and prices are great. Especially with all the noodles and meat you get in one bowl. Service is so friendly and welcoming. The order doesn't take long to make and drinks are made fresh. This is a go to place, especially when you are hungry!"
Review from Yelp: "My wife and I really enjoy eating at Pho Xe Lua. It's one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento and probably our favorite for pho. Service is fast and friendly (for an Asian restaurant), the food is always fresh and tasty, and prices are great. The wor wonton soup has tons in it and is one of our favorites. The menu is huge so we've only tried a small percentage, but the clay pots are great, pho is great, vermicelli noodle bowls are great, goi cuon/bi cuon are big and filled with meat and fresh herbs. We tried ban xeo once - too thick, not crispy.
Big restaurant so no wait, large parking lot, reasonably safe area. Try it - you won't be disappointed if you like pho!"
