Review from Yelp: "I love this restaurant. I hadn't been here for several years and decided to introduce it to my husband this weekend. It was just as good as I remembered!
Ambiance is classy but relaxed. Service is attentive and polite. The wine list is well-rounded; however, I'm a little disappointed that the majority of the wines are only available by the bottle.
The menu is a mixture of Thai and Vietnamese influences. If you're looking for a straight-up Thai or Viet restaurant, you might want to go elsewhere. But of you're looking to explore interesting gourmet dishes made with an Asian twist, you've come to the right place. When you read through the menu, be sure to reserve your final decision until after your server tells you about their specials as well - those are often enough to make you change your mind! This weekend I had a special seared ahi which was amazing....served with a yellow curry sauce on one side and a spicy tamarind (?) sauce on the other. And delicious steamed vegetables. So freaking good!!!! I also had the garden rolls with shrimp (having them made without pork was no problem - special requests are not met with resistance here) to start, which were simple but very fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered a skirt steak (another special) which he enjoyed immensely.
Prices are a little high here but I don't feel that they're too exorbitant. The food is delicious and the service is on point.
One complaint: gross bathrooms. They need an update pretty badly."
Review from Yelp: "Easily the best Vietnamese Restaurant in Sacramento. They have chefs and operated like a real restaurant, instead of somebody's mom cooking in the back. When you walk near here, you can smell the fine aroma from a few blocks away. That's how good this place is."
Review from Yelp: "I just came here for our office Christmas dinner and although one of my coworkers was skeptical and had me worried, the food and service blew us both away! The food was served family style and they started with appetizers. All of them included meat so my office manager told the waiter that I'm a vegetarian and he brought out a special single serving plate of all the appetizers but made with tofu instead of meat! They were all delicious and he then brought out a menu for me to choose from since I wouldn't be eating family style. I chose the Shaking Tofu, it was a great choice! The tofu was seared perfectly and the flavors were balanced and not overly sweet like pineapple can sometimes get when cooked. My husband tasted my tofu and said it was even better than the Shaking Beef that was part of the family style dinner. He said the flavors went better with the tofu because the beef took away from the taste of the spices.
The two drinks I had were delicious. The Pomegranate Lemon Drop was sweet and strong and the Blue Monsoon was fun (its really bright blue) and yummy. Plus, it didn't turn my mouth blue!
The only thing I didn't like was the ginger ice cream but every one else liked it a lot so its just a matter of preference. I don't like ginger.
One of the main reasons I am so in awe of this place is really the staff, they were so attentive and friendly, not to mention accommodating.
Its definitely not "authentic" Vietnamese or Thai, its a fusion restaurant but it does what it does very well."
